[Pro] White Background Page

I’ve just finished my website. 4 of my 8 pages have a WHITE BACKGROUND to them, as oppose to the BLACK BACKGROUND that I want.

I checked the MASTER PAGE and the setting is set to BLACK. All of the pages have a BLACK setting to them.

Why is it so?

A link to your page(s) online would help us greatly.

I am assuming that you mean http://www.innerlightbela.com/

The common factor that I see on the pages that display with a white background is Wow Slider. The code that is doing it is below but i am not sure where it is coming from.

<body onload="FWPreload()" style="background-color:#ffffff">

BTW - some of these pages are HUGE, slow to load and have some pretty large graphics on them ie monitorsbunch2.png is 1.55Mb the common bg image that you use longbg.png is 0.6Mb.

Your bg image alone converted to a jpeg would save you half a Meg.

And just to push the point about image sizes a bit further - this page http://www.deltadesign.co/fw_examples/jQuery/bgtest.html uses a gif for the BG image.

12KB - whereas yours is 595KB (2%)

Thanx DeltaDave — I’ll revamp the Wow Slider sections and the rest of the graphic sizes.
